SMAW sering digunakan untuk konstruksi lapangan karena fleksibel dan mampu mengelas dalam berbagai cuaca.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Berikut adalah rincian jenis pengelasan SMAW:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Berdasarkan Jenis Arus Mesin:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Mesin Las AC (Alternating Current):<\/strong> Menggunakan arus bolak-balik, cocok untuk proyek dengan kabel las panjang.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mesin Las DC (Direct Current)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Menggunakan arus searah, umumnya memberikan busur lebih stabil<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Mesin Las Inverter:<\/strong> Jenis modern yang lebih ringan, efisien, dan memiliki kontrol busur lebih baik.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Berdasarkan Polaritas (DC):<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>DCEP (Direct Current Electrode Positive)\/Reverse Polarity:<\/strong> Elektroda positif, benda kerja negatif. Menghasilkan penetrasi lebih dalam (contoh: E7018).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>DCEN (Direct Current Electrode Negative)\/Straight Polarity:<\/strong> Elektroda negatif, benda kerja positif.
